  1. You are a younger version of your grandmother! Same nose, same shape of the
lips and eyes. Its so cool! At least you know when you get older you are
going to be just as beautiful as her! :D

Hi Alia, I activated the yeast for 5 minutes but the bread was not very
porous on the inside. My friend told me to activate the yeast for a longer
time so that the inside can be more porous. Nevertheless, it is such a
wonderful recipe. Thanks for sharing! :)

  3. In Malta, we call our bread HOBZ. (1 is called HOBZA).
Our bread is round, but much higher, and very crusty (dark), and the inside
porous. I shall try your Khobz, as it looks quite easy, and VERY YUMMY! Bon
    Appetite! xox haha

  4. Would the sugar, salt and veg. oil measurements change if I decide to use
whole wheat flour instead of white all-purpose?

  5. Lalla Alia, your grandma is awesome! Can you ask her to show you how to
make brown bread? It’s more nutritious and is great with olive oil!! Love
    you 🙂

  6. Oh, Alia i love it i miss my grandmother and my mother i us to make it in
Morocco but now i just love it more and more

  7. You can use whole wheat, strong bread flour is the best. And also best to
use fresh yeast or yeast you can add dry. The one you have to add water is
not any good and your bread will come out flat and hard. So ignore that
    part of her video

  8. Hi Maryam, I listed the link to the written recipe with the ingredients
amount underneath the video in the “about” section.
